Rocky Reviews is being built to help engineering teams review longer pull requests with more context, while keeping the final judgment with a human.
Why we started
Pull requests were getting longer at my engineering team. In conversations with friends and colleagues, I heard that other teams were feeling the same pressure. Authors remain responsible for the changes they submit, and reviewers still need to protect quality. An approval should mean that a person has looked at the work and stands behind the decision.
Rocky is our attempt to make that review easier to do well. AI can help organize a change and point out places to look. A human reviewer should decide what is true, what matters, and what gets posted.
What we believe
- AI suggestions need to be checked against code and project context.
- Reviewers should remain accountable for the feedback they approve.
- Teams should be able to inspect and shape the tools they rely on.
